Visibility Partner: Put Your Brand in Motorsport Without a Budget
You want to associate your company with a sporting project, but the budget line does not exist this year. The sponsorship proposals you receive start at five figures, and you have neither the mandate nor the accounting visibility to commit that amount mid-year. There is nevertheless a zero-euro entry point, set out in a contract: the visibility partnership.
The principle: an exchange, not a donation
The visibility partnership rests on a simple mechanism: no money changes hands. Each party contributes what it already owns and what costs it nothing more to put to work. JB Racing has exposure assets: the livery, the race suit, three active social accounts and a calendar of twenty races in 2026. Your company has an audience: customers, followers, employees, professional network. The two intersect.
This is not a downgraded version of sponsorship, it is a different way in. A sporting project under construction needs budgets and name recognition; the former come more easily when the latter exists. A brand that promotes the project in earnest therefore brings real value, with no financial transfer.
The context: Jaden Beye, 15, who races under an ASK Rouen licence, competes in 2026 in the KZ category, the gearbox karting class, with the Matec Competition team run by Didier Blot, who guided Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon before they reached Formula 1. Runner-up in the 2025 Challenge Normand, selected for the FFSA French Junior Championship in his first full season, 20th French driver in the 2025 French Championship (CDF) standings, and holder of the pole position at the Trophée Pierre Gasly in Anneville-Ambourville with a 51"680. The path is set: Formula 4 in 2027, Formula 3 in 2028, then F2 and F1.
One point deserves stating right away, because it determines the value of the space you obtain: Jaden Beye is entered in the KZ2 World Cup, held at Le Mans Karting International from 17 to 20 September 2026. It is the benchmark event worldwide for the category, run under the authority of the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). Your name is not joining the livery of one karting driver among many: it is joining that of a driver on the grid of an FIA-sanctioned world competition.
What your brand receives
The Visibility Partner package includes three benefits in return, defined and set out in a contract:
- A space on the livery. Your brand appears on the Sodikart chassis entered in KZ, visible on track, in the paddocks, in race photographs and across every visual produced during the season.
- A space on the race suit. It is the most photographed surface in motorsport: podiums, portraits, interviews, video content. It follows the driver everywhere, including outside race weekends.
- Social media amplification. The project is published on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube (@jadenbeye). Your brand is named and tagged in the relevant posts.
The exposure is not theoretical: the 2026 season comprises twenty races, culminating in the KZ2 World Cup, at Le Mans Karting International, from 17 to 20 September 2026, where Jaden will be on the grid. A partner committed from the start of the season benefits from that peak of visibility without having spent a single euro.
What the package does not include, and it is worth saying plainly: no private track day, no hospitality on race weekends, no co-branded video content, no exposure reporting. Those services belong to the invoiced tiers of the partnership pack.
What you give in return
What is expected in return is genuine amplification to your own audience. Not an isolated mention at the start of the season, but a presence sustained over time. The possible forms:
- posts and stories on your social accounts, tagging the driver;
- a mention in your customer newsletter;
- logo and link on the partners or news page of your website;
- display in store, in the window or in your waiting area;
- internal communication, sharing the project with your employees.
The frequency and the format are agreed jointly and written into the agreement. This is the point that decides whether the arrangement succeeds: a brand that does not amplify the project does not keep its space the following season.
| Contribution | JB Racing | Your company |
|---|---|---|
| Financial cost | €0 | €0 |
| Asset made available | Livery, race suit, social media | Social media, newsletter, website, points of contact |
| Duration | 2026 season (20 races) | 2026 season |
| Formalised commitment | Partnership agreement | Partnership agreement |
| Tax document | None (no financial flow) | None |
Content creators, influencers and public figures
The arrangement is not reserved for companies. It is also open to content creators, influencers, athletes, artists, executives with a public profile and public figures, anyone whose name and image already constitute an audience. The mechanism is identical: two exposure territories that intersect, no financial flow.
Not looking to commit a budget? The visibility exchange does not require one. Your name and your image join the livery of a driver entered in the KZ2 World Cup; in return, you promote the project to your community. It is a reciprocal brand association: the project gains audience, you gain a credible brand territory, motorsport, performance, youth, a path towards Formula 4.
What you receive in concrete terms, whatever your status:
- your name or your logo on the livery of the Sodikart chassis entered in KZ, and on the driver's race suit;
- mentions and tags on the project's social accounts: Instagram, TikTok and YouTube (@jadenbeye);
- a mention on the website, in the list of project partners;
- access to the season's photo and video content, reusable on your own channels.
Two practical points. The first: the format is contracted exactly as it is for a company, a written agreement, defined spaces, an agreed posting frequency, the duration of the season. The second: this is not a request for support, it is a partnership offer, with the benefits in return set out in writing on both sides. A public figure who associates their name with a driver entered in an FIA world event is not granting a favour, they are occupying an image territory that their competitors do not occupy.
The calculation is the same as for a brand: the exposure value of the asset rises as the trajectory advances, 20 races in 2026, the KZ2 World Cup at Le Mans in September, then the single-seater in 2027. Coming in before those milestones costs zero euros and is worth more than coming in after them.
Which companies this suits (and which it does not)
The profiles where the exchange works
- Very small businesses and SMEs with an active digital community: retail, restaurants, gyms, dealerships, skilled trades: if you already publish regularly, amplifying the project costs only communication time that is already budgeted.
- B2C brands whose world overlaps with cars or performance, equipment, mobility, nutrition, textiles, physical conditioning: the connection reads clearly for your customers, which makes the content feel natural rather than promotional.
- Companies that want to test before committing: one season lets you observe the quality of the returns and how commitments are honoured before opening a budget line.
- Suppliers able to contribute in kind: printing, transport, accommodation, equipment, physical conditioning, accounting: if your business covers one of the project's cost items, you fall under Technical Partner status, with visibility proportionate to the value of the contribution. It does not bring money in, it saves money.
The profiles better served by moving straight to sponsorship
If you have no audience to activate, a purely B2B company with no structured external communication, the exchange serves no purpose. If you expect a measurable return, exposure reporting or commercial use of the image, the zero-euro arrangement does not provide for it. If your aim is to use an existing budget line rather than create one, the question is not cost but allocation: read how a works council (CSE) or seminar budget becomes a track day.
How a €0 partnership becomes a paid partnership
The Visibility Partner is the first rung of a ladder that has five. There is nothing automatic about the progression: it is decided at the end-of-season review, on what the amplification produced for you and what the exposure produced for us.
| Tier | Amount | Main benefits |
|---|---|---|
| Visibility Partner | €0 (exchange) | Livery + race suit + social media amplification |
| Support Partner | €2,000 to €6,000 | Dedicated space on the livery, two-seater kart ride (2 people), season review |
| Associate Partner | €6,000 to €15,000 | Livery or race suit, supervised track session, 1 race weekend |
| Major Partner | €15,000 to €30,000 | Livery + race suit, track day (8 people), hospitality for 2 weekends, dedicated content |
| Principal Partner | from €30,000 | Naming, dominant livery + race suit + helmet, private day (15 people), 3 weekends, presence on the F4 single-seater in 2027 |
Three arguments generally decide the move to the tier above, and none of them consists of creating new spending.
1. The budget already exists. From the Support tier upwards, the benefits include collective formats: two-seater kart ride, supervised session, private track day with your employees, results and prize-giving, branded photo and video content handed over to the partner. It is a seminar, team-building or works council budget line being reallocated, not a new cost: you are buying what you would have bought anyway.
2. The tax framework. For companies that prefer the donation route, article 238 bis of the French General Tax Code (CGI) grants companies taxed in France a tax reduction equal to 60 % of the amount paid, capped at €20,000 or 5 per thousand of pre-tax revenue, whichever is higher, with a possible carry-forward over five years. A donation of €1,000 therefore actually costs the company €400, with a tax receipt to support it. Note that patronage excludes commercial benefits in return, which must remain symbolic and must not exceed 25 % of the donation. The detail is covered in our sponsorship versus patronage comparison and in the article devoted to the 60 % reduction.
3. The CSR action that tells a story. Supporting a young French athlete on his way to Formula 4 is a concrete commitment, one you can showcase to your teams, your customers and your stakeholders.
There is also continuity, which matters for a brand building its presence across several financial years: your logo runs from 2026 and follows Jaden onto the single-seater in 2027, through the FFSA Academy. The budget for the 2026 KZ season stands at €105,000, that of the 2027 Formula 4 season at €300,000. Coming in today at zero euros means taking a position on an asset whose exposure value rises as a matter of course.
What you sign, and what it is not
The partnership is run by JB Racing, a French non-profit association under the 1901 law, whose registered office is at 9 rue des Colonnes, 75002 Paris, France. The association structures the sporting project and supports drivers.
The Visibility Partner is covered by a written partnership agreement specifying the spaces granted, the duration, each party's amplification commitments and the renewal conditions. Depending on the arrangement chosen, JB Racing issues a contract, an invoice or a tax receipt.
Two clarifications for your finance department. The visibility exchange is not patronage: the benefits in return are full and commercial, so there is no donation, no tax receipt and no 60 % tax reduction. Invoiced sponsorship does not qualify for that reduction either: it is a deductible expense set against taxable profit, with recoverable VAT, on presentation of an invoice. Two distinct regimes, not to be confused.
Finally, the number of spaces is limited by the actual surface of the livery and the race suit, and invoiced partners are served first. The project's current partners are AUTOROOM and CAKEPRO; the list is available on our partners page.
Frequently asked questions
Is the visibility partnership really free?
Yes, in the sense that no money is paid to JB Racing. It does, however, carry an indirect cost for your company: the communication time devoted to promoting the project to your audience. That contribution is what you give in return for the space on the livery and the race suit.
What size of company is this arrangement aimed at?
There is no size criterion, but there is an audience criterion. A five-person business with an engaged community brings more than an SME with no external communication. Without an audience to activate, consider an invoiced tier or a contribution in kind.
I am a content creator or a public figure: is the arrangement open to me?
Yes. The visibility exchange assumes neither company status nor budget: it assumes an audience. Content creators, influencers, athletes, artists, executives with a public profile and public figures access it on the same terms as a brand. Your name and your image join the livery and the race suit of a driver entered in the KZ2 World Cup, and you promote the project to your community. The commitment is formalised in a partnership agreement, with the benefits in return set out in writing on both sides.
Can I benefit from the 60 % tax reduction with this arrangement?
No. The tax reduction equal to 60 % of the amount paid provided for by article 238 bis of the French General Tax Code (CGI) applies to patronage, that is to say a donation with no equivalent benefit in return, those benefits having to remain symbolic and no greater than 25 % of the donation. A visibility exchange carries full commercial benefits in return: it does not fall under that regime.
What happens if one of the parties does not honour its amplification commitment?
The agreement sets out the scope and the frequency of the amplification expected from each side. If no real amplification takes place over the season, the space is not renewed and may be reallocated: the balance of the arrangement rests on reciprocity.
Can a visibility partnership become an invoiced package during the season?
Yes. The move to a higher tier can happen at any time, with the benefits adjusted pro rata for the remainder of the season. It is the most frequent path: a first year of observation, then a budgeted commitment once the value has been established.
Will the space obtained in 2026 be kept on the single-seater in 2027?
Guaranteed presence on the Formula 4 single-seater in 2027 is a benefit of the Principal Partner package. Visibility partners who wish to continue in 2027 move to an invoiced tier, the Formula 4 season representing a budget of €300,000.
To assess the arrangement, the first step is a twenty-minute conversation: whether you represent a brand or your own name, we look at your audience and at what you can amplify, and we tell you whether the exchange makes sense or whether another tier would serve you better.
